What do they do with unclaimed baggage?

The airlines try for 90 days to track the owner of the unclaimed baggage. After 90 days,it is considered unclaimed and they sell it.

I read something on the internet one time and also saw something on television about it. They do sell these bags at a location in Alabama or somewhere south.

If any bags are left unclamed the place sells them to a place called the unclaimed baggage center. Lots of people shop there to buy peoples unclaimed goods.
