The size limits for carry-on baggage vary with each airline carrier, but they all require approximately the same size. A bag can be no more than 45 linear inches. Linear inches include a measurement of height, width, and depth of the suitcase. No bulky overhead baggage may be brought on the airplane or it will have to be checked.

Carry-on luggage is limited to a bag with dimensions measuring 22" x 14" x 9" or less. Most airlines also have a weight limit of 40 pounds, but it is not enforced very often.

It really depends on the airline you are traveling with. You will need to check with your carrier for their specifications. Each airline has its own rules as there is really no regulation for it. Make sure you pack lightly! Normally it's what can fit in the overhead bin.

Every airline will ahve a slightly different size limit for a carried on abg. However, 20 inches is typically the standard height that is allowed to be carried on a plane.

Carry-on luggage restrictions depend on the airline but these days, most airlines besides Southwest are charging for any checked bag on all domestic flights. The standard acceptable size for carry-on luggage is a total of 45 inches when you add up all three dimensions. Many luggage lines sell a suitcase that measures 22x14x9 which fits this size requirement.

Carry-on luggage must be less than 45 linear inches. This means that length and width and height when added up must equal less than 45. 14x9x22 is a generally accepted guideline. The bag must also be less than 40 pounds. Remember that sometimes if there is not enough room, carry-on bags end up checked anyway.

It always varies depending on the airline that you are taking. In most cases the airline does not really care what size bag you bring, as long as it can fit in the overhead compartment.

For airlines, the luggage should not exceed 115 centimeters. It's the combined length, width and depth. This includes handles and wheels.
