Get out of the house and get active. Take the opportunity to get to know people with no relationship pressure. Study people, we are a very interesting species.

There is a great ninety day rule for getting over an ex. Separate yourself from all contact with that person for ninety days. Spend time with friends you don't associate with them. After ninety days you should be mentally separated enough from this person to begin moving on.

Speaking from experience: improve your surroundings, focus on the future, stay busy, concentrate on your own projects and priorities, and get enough exercise so you fall right to sleep.

I suggest doing some exercise. Exercise can be a stress reliever and makes you look better and feel confident for the dating scene.
