You must get a degree, ususally a bachelors, in elementary or early childhood education. Once the degree is obtained, apply at local elementary schools.
In order to become a kindergarten teacher you have to love kids and be very patient, first and foremost. You should also love teaching, and be focused enough to get your bachelors and masters degrees in education.
