It's important to stay positive. Ease the transition by preparing your child. Start talking about kindergarten several weeks or months before and participate in orientation programs or make appointment for a tour with your child. Take your child school shopping so they can pick out backpacks and other items.

"Have fun and learn everything you can. " That's the whole thing in a nutshell - everything else is just clutter.

School is going to be fun. You are going to make lot's of new friends. You will also be able to do some really fun activities at school like taking your lunch, riding a bus, learning to count, learning your abc's, learning to write, and doing art projects, playing outside at recess.
