Unfortunately, it's not very likely. So long as their are warmblooded animals for them to feast on, they'll continue to propagate. The silver lining is their existence has brought about a plethora of other interesting and diverse animals that feed on them. Bats, spiders, fish et al wouldn't be around if not for the pest!

According to me, mosquitoes will never become an extinct species. No doubt they are the worst as they cause the maximum harm to the mankind but they breed so easily and in so much quantity that it is not possible to finish them throughout the world. So, better have caution. Mosquitoes are going to be here forever.
