Will a cancer that has metastatic ever go into remission?

I need to know if my cancer will ever go into remission.

Depending on what form of cancer (stomach, leukemia, skin) and where the metastatic cancer has shown up depends on the survival rate. If the new metastatic cancer was caught early enough the chances are likely to go into remission, along with the proper treatment.

When cancer goes into metastasis, it can be really hard to find its point of origin. However, it's not impossible. You could go into remission. It is possible. Good luck.

Yes, metastatic cancers can go into remission. You need to talk to your oncologist about your particular type of cancer and where the metastatic lesions are and what stage your cancer is in. Every patient is an individual, so there is no yes or no answer to your particular situation.
