The survival rate for stomach cancer on white males is approximately 20% and for black males is 22%. This does not take into fact what stage of cancer which will change the survival rate dramatically depending if they are stage 1 or stage 4.

No one can predict how much time a person has to live. The survival rate for any cancer depends on the type of cancer, the stage of the cancer, which indicates how the cancer has progressed, and how agressive the cancer cells are, which will indicate the type of treatment the patient will have.

It is difficult to predict precisely when, or if, someone will die from cancer. Studies show that the overall five-year survival rate for stomach cancer is approximately 21%. The stage the cancer was detected, the response to treatment, and many other factors come into play.
