Why are people vegetarian?

Answer by  ferfer72 (2623)

There are two main reasons why people choose to be vegetarians. The first is that some people believe that animals should not be killed for the purpose of feeding people. They believe they can live perfectly healthy lives without ever eating meat. The second group of vegetarians have digestive disorders that keep them from being able to digest meat.

Some vegetarians don't think that people should eat meat because livestock animals are often raised in inhumane conditions. Others just feel healthier when they don't eat meat.
