Where is the location of the VIN number on my car?

Usually, it is inside the driver's side door of he car, on a small metal plate on the dashboard, or you can find it on your registration or on your insurance forms.

The VIN number is located on your dashboard on the driver's hand side and is visible if you stand outside the car and look down into the windshield. It is also located on the doorframe of the car (usually) on the driver's side, and on the engine block.
