Well typically the VIN number is etched or stamped on the frame itself. Usually it is located on the neck of the frame but it depends on the manufacturer.

Well different manufactures have placed them in different areas. Almost always it should be located on the main section of the frame. Usually up on the neck or on one of the down tubes.

the vin numbers are located on the frame usually the neck up near the handlebars or headlight assembly or the numbers can be on the left side of the main frame to the side of the fuel tank and if in neither of them places it may be on the under side of the frame rail on the lowest side.
