Where do you find the VIN on a Chevy?

The VIN should be located on the dash at the base of the windshield on the drivers side. IT may also be located on the door frame or under he hood on some older cars. Some people say VIN number either because they don't know what it stands for or just out of habit. Like saying ATM machine.

VIN does stand for vehicle identification number. Unless its something really old the vin number should be visible from the outside of the car in the bottom corner of the windshield on the drivers side. its a long number. it will also be on the title and registration.
