Rio Bertolini pasta is actually freshly made pasta in the United States (from the South Eastern region). Some restaurants also use it, so while it doesn't come directly from Italy, it still has the authentic taste of fresh Italian pasta. It also makes it easier to purchase the product because it is not an import.

Bertolli pasta is a Unilever brand, made at one of the brand's many plants in the United States. If having a product made in Italy is important to you, check gourmet grocery stores in your area.
