How id insulin made?

I need to understand how insulin is made.

Insulin a hormone is naturally produced in the pancreas. Insulin production is regulated by the amount of glucose, or sugar, and proteins in the blood stream. Outside of the body insulin is made through standard molecular biology techniques. The DNA coding for the insulin gene is expressed to produce insulin protein, which is purified and sold.

Within the body, insulin is made by special cells in the pancreas. Insulin used in injections to treat diabetes is created by genetic engineering technology.

In the human body, this hormone is both produced and secreted in the pancreas (by its Beta - cells to be more exact).

Insulin used to be purified from pigs or cows, but nowadays it is produced through recombinant DNA technology in unicellular organisms, such as E. coli, and then purified for human use.

Insulin is a hormone that regulates glucose levels in the blood. It is produced by beta cells in areas of the pancreas called Islets of Langerhans.

Insulin is made using bacteria like E. coli and some yeast. Use of amino-acid sequencing and large amounts of bacteria,DNA is inserted into the host and the bacteria allowed to grow. The bacteria capable to create a synthetic form of hormone, which is purified ina centrifuge or chromatography.
