You can use a glue that is compatible with ceramics and clay to fix a break, or if necessary, purchase some more clay that needs only air drying (not kiln drying) and reattach the broken piece, blending in the clay as best you can. A little water on the fingertips will help smooth it out.

Depending on what is wrong with the bowl (did the platform break? are there cracks in the paint or ceremic itself? ), you may be able to make soft repairs with glue, fresh paint to conceal damage or if new parts are needed, recast portion with clay and smooth evenly.

All pottery is fired, so the surface is sealed but below the surface it is still porous. Use a glue that works on porous materials.

Use a glue specifically made for ceramics and consider whether you are going to wash it, or just display it. Goop is a great all purpose glue requiring setup time.
