How much should I expect to pay to have a prototype made for my invention?

I need to have a prototype made of my invention.

Depending on the state you will have to pay upwards of 2000. 00 for additions to your invention. You will need to get all of the original invention information and run it through the lawyer to make sure everything is correct.

If possible you can make a 'free' prototype from clay, metal, foam,etc. However, if you employ a professional actual cost will depend on your specifications. You will benefit financially if you can make several suitable replicas rather than request a professional to design a single/original prototype.
