The Nissan Caravan started production in 1984 but before that, it was called as Datsun Urvan. So for some reason the brand was ceased and the Urvan was changed or rebadged as a Nissan Product.
The first year the Nissan Caravan was made was 1973. It has been used as a popular fleet vehicle in Japan since 1973 until now. When sold outside of Japan they were sold under the name of Urvan and Homy. 2010 will be the last year this vehicle will be made.
