What is the first year starting salary of an attorney in Los Angeles CA?

I have been offered a job in CA and need to make sure that my salary is in line with the standard for the area.

Of course, it depends on what type of work you are doing, but a first year attorney should expect to make around $58,000. There are often commissions or a signing bonus that some firms offer in addition to the starting salary. A public defender or prosecutor usually makes less than those working for a law firm.

It would be around $130,000 per year. He might change with a firm or opening your own office. I'm not sure if that amount would include benefits.
