What is an easy way to make a homemade bib?

I want to start making bibs for the babies in the NICU and need a pattern to do so.

Did you know that at craft stores such as Michael's and Joann's, there are bibs you can buy and decorate at home? If this isn't exactly what you're looking for, I suggest you take up crocheting. There are many patterns on the web for crocheting a bib!

There are many free patterns on the internet. But I would buy a few bibs and copy the pattern. Also hand towels make a creat bib. You cut a hole the size of a babies head and sew stretch cuff material around the hole. This slips over the head. You can decorate with what ever you want.

An easy way to make a homemade bib is to either crochet or knit one or buy a pre-stamped cross-stitch bib. Crochet patterns are easy to find via a search on the internet for "crochet baby bib patterns". As for pre-printed cross-stitch bibs, they can be found in various arts and craft stores.

One of the easiest, and most useful types of bib is made from a simple hand towel. Folded in half, a circle is cut out of the center, then hemmed.

Any kitchen towel can be turned into a bib. Cut a whole in the center of the towel, decorate the front and the edges, add trim around the open hole.
