What should you wear when exercising?

I never seem to wear the right thing.

You should wear light weight breathable clothing. As your workout progresses your body will heat up and you will perspire so your clothing needs to accomodate this.

Make sure what you're wearing is made of spandex so it can stretch with you as you exercise. Don't wear anything too baggy because it could get caught in the equipment.

If you're doing cardiovascular or weight training workout, make sure to wear lose clothing. Avoid wearing a sweater or sweat pants because this would affect your breathing. Make sure you also wear the proper shoes, ideally, running shoes because they will keep you comfortable while you do your exercises. If you're a female, wear a sports bra.

The most important thing is to wear something you are comfortable in. Sporting goods stores sell clothing made from special materials to help keep perspiration away and keep you dry.
