Well, if you need to get it done you have to realize your property is probably going to be appraised for a lot less than it will be after the renovation. So it might not be the very best idea to get an appraisal done in the middle of the renovation.

All you need to do is to find a licensed appraiser in your area, a real estate firm or your loan holder can help locate one.

Appraisers will do appraisals based on renovations being finished. Just make sure that you have the estimates and details of the renovations on hand.

Contact your renovation company and tell them about your situation. The home appraisal will lower in the middle of a renovation. So it is better to wait it out and see.

Search the internet for a reliable professional in your area who does home appraisals at a reasonable price. The yellow pages should also have some listings.

Make sure you have applied for all the certificates to have the work done on your house. If there are things that are complete let the building inspector know so he can certify the work that has been done. Talk to the home appraisal person and tell them what has been done and what you plan on finishing.

Appraisals can be made for the property "as is" or subject to certain conditions, such as the completion of specified repairs or improvements. Discuss this with your appraiser.

The only way to answer that is to call the appraiser and tell them what you need and what is going on right now and ask them how to go about getting this done and they can tell you all the details you need to know.

You should call the appraiser you have in mind and ask if he can appraise considering the renovations you have in mind. Otherwise, you can complete the work first.

It would depend on what type of renovation is being done, how long the renovation will take to complete and what the appraisal is for.
