A pharmacist may work as a professor at a university where they may teach and do research. They may also work in a hospital and work directly for a particular unit such as hematology/oncology or an intensive care unit.

A pharmacist typically works in a drug-store or retail setting. It is a very mobile job, meaning that you will typically have to move through aisles to gather the medications.

They will general be working in a 'office' setting either in the medical center or a large practice group. But their are calls for pharmacist in medical relief work, which would be a more intense setting possibily anywhere in the world
