There is no standard length of a golf club. Every club depending on its type and number is shorter or longer. A driver is always longer than a pitching wedge, for instance. Also different clubs from different manufacturers have differing lengths.

Every club type has a different standard length, and it depends on the shaft material. A mans driver shaft is normally 44 inches or half inch longer for graphite shaft.

There is no industry standard for length of clubs. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. The best thing to do is go try some out, see what works for you.
