Apply heat to the neck for about 30 minutes. Then gently massage the affected muscles for 10 minutes. Slowly stretch your neck by moving your head sideways to your shoulder and then up and down. If you still experience pain, seek help from a chiropractor.
The best relief for a stiff neck is heat. You can get heat wraps, heating pads, or you can even make your own. to make your own heating pad you will need an old sock and some white rice, and heat it up in the microwave.
Do stretches, whenever ive been sitting down for a while or just sleeping i just roll my head in a circle a few times and if it hurts take an asprin, then im ok.
