The vet will have to remove the infestation, as there are awful side effects that can result from home removal. The vet will prescribe meds for your dog. Good luck!

The best way to get rid of Cuterebra parasite is to have a vet remove the larve. It needs to be removed in one piece or it can cause complications for the dog. After removed cleaned and some times antibotics.

Take her to the veterinarian immediately. The vet can treat the problem immediately to give the dog some relief before the infestation worsens, causes infection and even kills the dog.

Take your dog to the vet to be diagnosed. Get the affected area disinfected and keep the area clean. The area can be cleansed with a mild unscented soap and warm cloth. Wipe it dry after cleaning.

Make sure you have taken her to the Vet, she needs to have it removed. You could try giving her a oatmeal bath which might relieve the itching.
