Ultimately, it depends on the type of pilot you are and your experience. If you are the pilot for a commercial airline then your salary is about 30k starting and with experience can be well over 200k. Where if you fly a private jet your salary can range from 20k to 120k.

A pilots income will vary depending upon the pilots experience level and the type of aircraft being flown. Additionally, a pilots income may be paid as a daily rate, per flight hour flow, or a straight salary. Entery level pilots can expect to make $20,000 or less, while an experienced pilot can make over $100,000 per year.
