Chiropody is the study of hands and feet. A person who studies Chiropdy is referred to as a Chiropodist. Here in the US a Podiatrist studies only feet but in the UK a Chiropodist studies both hands and feet. So, the short answer to this question would be a Chiropodist is the UK version of a Podiatrist.
