There are many exercises that can stimulate gains in mass and strength in your quadriceps. Back squats are the best way to pump up your legs as a whole. You should supplement your workouts with deadlifts and leg extensions. The leg extensions will isolate the quadriceps for optimal growth however they will not add mass the way squats can.

Squats and leg press are by far the best exercises for your quads. You could also try to do some leg extensions.

Lye on your back and then partly sit up resting on your elbows. Bend your knees. Doing one leg at a time, straighten out one leg (do not stiffen leg) and gently raise it. Do this several times and then do the other leg.

Wall Squats. Drop down into a seated position, with your back against a wall. Legs should be at a 90 degree angle. Hold the position as long as you can.

Squats, lunges, and leg presses are the easiest to do on your own. Squat variations that focus the quads include jump-squats and follow throughs. (Hold dumbbells in each hand, arms down at sides, squat all the way down, then return up and bring the arms up to shoulder height, then above head, and back down.)

Quad exercise is the exersise that which is gien to the thighs. This type of exercise helps one to have strong legs. A good quad exercise is body and muscle building exercise that give strength to ones body.

Begin with feet directly under your hips and hands by your sides. Keeping your body weight on the heels, begin to sit down as sitting on a chair. Keep your back as upright. Go as low you feel comfortable, and return to start. Inhale - squat down. Exhale =back to start.

Something simple that you can do anywhere would be walking lunges. Put one foot in front of the other and squat down as far as you can go keeping knees over toes. Do 4 sets of 12 every other day.

Squats are the best thing to do to exercise your quads. Sit back on your heels to feel your muscles working. Try some jumping squats. Get down really low to feel it. Also bounce your squats in place for 10 counts. You can try lifting one of your heels up off the ground to add to the intensity.

Steps. For 30 seconds with 1minute breaks, step up 1 level then down. Alternate to 2-foot jumps for second set. Then back to steps, etc.
