Bunting birds are a close relation to finches. They eat seeds and originated in Eurasia and Africa. They are from the family of emberizids and are not considered a breed but a species.

Bunting is the common English name for the genus species of Emberiza millaria. It is a small bird, similar to the finch, in size and habits. The eat seeds and have short ills. There are several different types, some having bright colors, shuch as the Indigo Bunting which has bright blue feathers.
