The best thing to do is to climb up there on a ladder and sweep out the nest and debris from your eves and gutters. Then, you can put plastic netting or mesh over the gutters to keep the birds from nesting there. If there are eggs in the nest, please wait until they have flown the coop.

You will need chicken wire or similar material and place it over the infected areas. The wire has to be small enough so the birds can not fit though.

The only way to get them out of the eves is to enclose them and the gutters take a put some form of scent in them and the birds will go elsewhere.

There are various types of netting available and gels for this purpose. You may want to start with a blow up predator such as an owl to frighten them off.

Persistantly remove any nest and make the are as unpleasant as possible. You can use porcupine wires and if necessary you can use a repellant like sticky foot.

If your problem is at the eaves, search for no more nests and you should find a new product called NestStop

There are two steps -- first, getting the birds out; second, preventing them from returning. The second part is easy: install gutter guards, such as a mesh that covers the opening but lets the rain in. The first is the hard part. You can try an inflatable owl, a rubber snake or such.
