Silver with the mark MB & Co is an American silver manufacturer's identification for Meriden Britannia Company, which is located in Meriden,Connecticut. The mark is usually also accompanied by two small dots under the o and "024". These marks were used from 1852 at the start of the company by Horace C. and Dennis C. Wilcox, until the 1930's.

The silver mark is actually the name of the manufacturer on the silver. MB & Co is an American silver producer. If you look closely you will also find 2 dots on the silver. These marks were used between 1852 and 1930. MB & Co stands for Meriden Britannia Company. It is located in Meriden, Connecticut.

The mark is from the Maple and Company. This company was established in the year 1841 by John Maple. Silver that is stamped with MB&Co were used in the 1920s. If there is just a MB stamp it was made before that time.
