I think that he might be going a little far but if he misspoke and that is the end of it, then let it go. Sometimes people love others, but it is the commitment that matters.

1. Identify said woman. 2. Discern relationship between woman and husband. 3. Take a bath........ put on some music. Relax. Consider your information, only you know how you feel an how your relationship works. 4. Act appropriately, don't do anything you'll regret but hopefully it's a false alarm.

The simple answer is to ask him. Do not "confront" him, just ask him about it. If he gets defensive about the fact that you saw the message, apologize and then talk to him about it. Unless you have some stronger evidence of something wrong, trust his answer and let it go until he truly betrays you.

I would be the mostly distressed person of the globe if my husband turns his attention to another woman. I would have digested that type of attitude from my better half. I would be frozen by the behavior of my husband. I would palpitate on visualizing the text message to another woman.
