What do I do if my Motorola phone tools won't recognize my Razr?

Try un-installing it and re-installing the most up to date version that is available. Also make sure that no extra drivers that need to be installed also.

If your motorola tools do not work you can always try to go to Radio Shack and buy new tools and software or you can always try to call your service provider.

Call to customer service and they will have answer fir you!! Check out if you still under warranty. Check if all needed drivers installed on your computer!!!! Try to reboot your cell

Check if the phone is being recognized in device manager. Try uninstalling Motorola Phone Tools and downloading the latest version from the Motorola website. Try removing the battery and restarting your phone. Make sure the drivers are installed in device manager. You may have to download the drivers from the Motorola website.

That is because your Razr isn't compatible with your pone tools, its all a matter of updates and upgrades with cell phones.
