I would say a nice white, eggshell or even gold color would be nice, and would accent the outfit well.

I would wear black shoes. Not red because it would be way too showy. You could go with a silver shoe. Don't go with a cream to match the pearls because it wouldn't look right. I say a Black Peak Toe shoe with a slight heel on it. Nothing too fancy but elegant.
