What color pants should I wear with a white shirt?

You can wear any color of trousers with a white shirt, though I would stay away from white. The trick is to have your shoes go well with your pants--black if the trousers are grey or black or blue, brown with brown or khaki.

White pants go with anything and everything. If you want to look slim black, brown or any darker color works best. However if you want to liven it up a bit go with a brighter color such as lime, pink, or any other bright color would do. I wouldn't suggest white pants or ivory.

Not white pants - you'll look like an orderly at a psychiatric facility. Wear the color of the level of attention you want to get. Dress for success!

Although dark pants always looks good with a white shirt, open up your closet and take out any just about any pair of pants you want, everything goes with white, except don't wear white pants unless you want to look like a butcher. Avoid beige too as that would be very dull.
