What color shoes go with a navy blue dress?

Black does not look right with a navy blue dress. It looks like an attempt to match, but falling short. Red would be fine as would yellow, white or navy blue. Even green, depending on the accessories. Another option, if you must wear black would be to make sure accessories have black, match the purse, that kind of thing.

Depending on the dress, sometimes white shoes. Most of the time try to go with a black, navy blue, or maybe a dark brown.

Definatly go with navy if available. If you break up the color pattern with a white camisole under the dress just slightly exposed or other white accessories, you could pull off a pair of white pumps. Black, unless worn with other black accessories, is going to make a "mismatched" look.

I too have the same problem. I was thinking of a light neutral color peep-toe heel, but now that seems a bit odd. I think I will go with silver or maybe grey and just accessorize to make it work.

Navy blue is a very neutral color so a lot of color shoes would go well. Black shoes are a staple and go with any color at all so that is your best bet. Wearing the same color shoes might look too put together so I would go with black.

A nice Saphire Blue would be nice.
