Perform a repair of Office. Goto your control panel, then add/remove programs. Once the add/remove program window has appeared scroll down and locate Microsoft Office. Click on Microsoft office and then select Change or Modify. Once the installation program has started there should be a repair option, select this and Office should repair any problems between applications.

Go to control panel - set program access and defaults - associate a file type - this will give you the set associations screen. Associate Microsoft Programs, If you don't own Microsoft Office or Word you can download a FREE copy of OpenOffice, it will read and write all Office file types.

First off, we need to figure out whether you mean Outlook cannot find a specific word in a document, or Microsoft Word. I'll assume you mean the former. To find a specific word in a document, hit Ctrl + F, and type in the word you're looking for.

you can actually check search inbox and try to type in the keyword , if you have a lot of folders try checking those folders and try retyping the word again

it is obvious that your Microsoft office 2003 has been affected, remember in other cases when you can install an anti-virus later after you have installed an operating system it can delete data or corrupt, so it is important for you to uninstall that Microsoft office 2003 and install.

if your outlook has a lot of folders on it, it may take sometime but you can search your folder manually , or by date, by sender, or inbox search

This is most likely because you do not have word installed on your computer or the file is possibly corrupted.

You must make sure you have spelled out "word" correctly in order for outlook to recognize it. Once spelled out correctly proceed to search for the word again.

Depending on what word you are needing to find, such as spelling. I would suggest using an online dictionary website. Good luck.
