Many instances were found of brazen lies during investigation. These brazen lies have proved to be vital clue and eventually resolved the case much earlier than expected. This was obvious that the person was lying as he was not able to prove many important aspects that were required to ensure that he was not lying.

Brazen means bold with the implication that the person is acting without shame. Examples - The secretary made food for the office in a brazen attempt to curry favor with the boss. The new haute couture fashion line brazenly displayed the models' bodies.
