Rest your feet every chance you get. Position your weight from foot to foot from time to time. If you have to stand for long periods of time, make sure you are standing on a rubber mat. Switch shoes every few hours. Wear supportive shoes, and if all else fails, have dear hubby give you a nice foot rub!

The dorsal foot pain is a quite common pain during pregnancy. This pain is due the increase of weight. This will settle down after delivery. For temporary relief, apply ice where the pain is more concentrated. Hot water massage using a hot water bag gives better relief within minutes and reduces pain.

To treat dorsal foot pain I would recommend doing the following things. First, I'd soak my foot in hot water, this will provide comfort. Second, I would purchase inserts for my shoes, to help give the foot better support. Lastly, I would try and stay off my feet, especially when pregnant, after a long day of walking or standing.
