What are some good workouts for gymnasts?

I want to be a good gymnast and I know it will be hard but need a good workout program.

Do splits and back/shoulder flexibility EVERYDAY. Leg lifts, arm dips, push-ups, sit-ups, heal raises and pull-ups. Another good exercise is V-Seat. Start flat on your back and raise your shoulder/arm and legs up at the same time to form a V.

Any exercise that increases an individual's overall strength and flexibility is important to becoming a successful gymnast. Stretching each and every day with movements such as a pike hold, straddle hold, splits, and back bends will all improve a person's range of motion. Leg lifts, squats, sit ups, and pull ups will help improve a person's strength.
