Should I worry about a cat with a hanging belly?

Is the belly loose and floppy? Loose skin is a sign of weight loss. There's a good chance the cat needs to be dewormed or has some other medical condition causing it to not get enough nutrition. Is the animal female and fixed? Pregnancy is also a good possibility. And last but not least, the animal could simply be overweight.

Probably not, Cats tend to over eat sometimes. Especially when in stressfull situations, most likley your cat is just stressed out or possibly bored. It may be a more serious problem though so you should take it to have a checkup just to make sure.

Not really it can happen after your cat gets neutered or sometimes it is just because your cat eats to much and he or she is fat.
