Shouldn't I worry that a hanging mobile over my child's crib might fall?

You should make sure the mobile is on tight and fits correctly. Pull on the mobile to be sure it's secure.

Depending on what it is made of, you could secure the mobile either by drilling holes and running bolts through it, or you could screw it to the crib. If it hangs from the ceiling, do it pretty much the same way. Better safe than sorry!
