Well this is not not uncommon for cars with electric fans to keep running when then key is off. This keeps air circulating through the radiator and helps to cool the engine down while it sits.

You will want to check to see if you have a wiring problem. There is power to the fan at all times.

If the fan motor stays on for like one to two minutes then there is no problem. If it stays on longer then that then you may have a problem.
