My CT scan done with contrast doesn't look any different than without contrast. Why?

I am worried that they did something wrong.

A CT with contrast is done to pick up any abnormalities that cannot be seen with the traditional CT scan. It doesn't look different, because there may not be abnormalities.

Medical diagnostic tests such as CT scans take a highly trained eye to read. If you feel that something might have been overlooked in your scan, it would be beneficial to have another radiologist (physician) read the pictures.
