No. Computerized Tomography is a procedure that uses radiation to produce images; different body parts absorb radiation. Each time radiation passes through the body, there is some cellular death. Cellular death that occurs within the first two trimesters of fetal development may cause improper development of an organ.

Many people say that it is not safe for the baby inside if you go for scanning during pregnancy. These days every doctor tells us to take scanning every month,which is not safe. you can go for scanning twice,that is in 5th month to check the body parts of the baby and in 9th month for complete development.

It is safe to get CT scan when you are pregnant.But doing it to find the sex of the fotus is banned,take it under guidance of a doctor.
