It is difficult to write jokes?

All that is required to write a joke is to think of a punch line that is funny. You can also look for a play on words that makes something both funny and unexpected. For example, many of the Tiger Woods jokes were written on the fly, or were rewrites of existing jokes.

Well, that all depends on what kind of person you are. Some people are just better at writing and telling jokes than others, so whether it is difficult or easy depends on the person.

I have a great sense of humor but I think it is very difficult to write jokes. Jokes should be spontaneous and theres something about writing them down on paper that takes the spontaneity out of it.

Jokes are difficult at times, it also depends on how you say them. If you base jokes on current events, (example Politic jokes) they will be good for the time era, but not in the future.
