Can a person learn to write jokes?

Generally I don't think jokes are all that funny. I think sometimes humor comes from personal experience, irony, sarcasm, etc. You might be able to learn it.

It is possible. You just need a little imagination and a sense of humor. We all have a sense of humor in us don't we. All you have to do is turn your ideas in your head and jot them down.

People are able to write jokes because 'what is funny' is actually determined by society and the environment in which one is located. People are born more 'intelligent' than others, thus allowing them to be more witty and better create jokes.
