A mixture of apple cider vinegar and water helps yeast or fungus infections; but don't apply to open sores. Before applying, bathe your dog thoroughly, preferably with a medicated shampoo. Yeast and fungus infections can signal internal yeast infections, or thyroid problems. Other skin conditions have similar symptoms, so if a condition persists or worsens, consult a veterinarian.

Vinegar mixtures can work well to treat dogs with yeast infections. You don't usually want to put straight vinegar on the skin, it's usually recommended to mix it with water.
