Is OneForAll the only kind of universal remote I can get?

Logitech, RCA, GE, Sony, Philips, just to name a few, also sell universal remotes. Many other brands are available. Check electronics sites or visit a local electronics store and you will find many options out there. You should be able to use most universal remotes to put all your electronics (tv, DVD player, cable, etc) on one remote.

There are many different manufacturers for universal remotes. Logitech is the market leader and their Harmony product line is wide-ranging, versatile and easy to use. You can even get devices that let you control your equipment with a smart phone.

If you want to put everything on one remote then you should definately get one for all remote, it works for all your needs.

No way. There are tons of remotes out there. I would go to an electronics store and look at all of them. There are probably 20 different kinds. Find the one you like the best and then buy it online. Places like Best Buy jack up their prices like crazy. I am an ex employee, trust me.
