The most effective way to obtain the codes are to contact the maker of the remote. If it's made by RCA then look up the contact information online for the manufature. They will need to know the model number of the remote which is usually found under the batteries.

The codes to program the remote should be in the instruction manual that came with the box. Just look under the index.
